Hello guys

i am new here and would like some help regarding amplification of sound.

To be as simple as it can be i have a device that gives out an amplified sound and would like to amplify it further. I tried using a nomal audio amplifier (TDA2007). but the sound came out distorted.

In theory what i remember from school was that if you add another stage to the amplifier it amplifies it further. I cannot figure out what i did wrong??? Can someone help??

Thanks in advance

Well you need to give far more detail, but most amplifiers are more than one stage following each other. If you amplify too much it will clip and distort.
