If an amplifier was biased in class A, what would the quiescent collector current be, and also if the base current is 500microA what would the resulting current be?Thank you

One hint. Quiescent means when no signal is applied.
 
An amplifier does not have a collector. So maybe The Edge is talking about a single transistor used as an amplifier.

He asks what is its collector current when it operates in class-A and its base current is 500uA.

The collector current depends on the current gain of the transistor that is different for each transistor, even if they are the same part number.
A voltage divider can bias the base of the transistor and an emitter resistor can be added so that the current gain range doesn't affect the collector current as much.
