I would like some help on a new project I am starting...

I will worry about the casing later, but i would like to know how to create the circuits(s) for a device which can store music on a flash memory and play a song using a random shuffle feature through two or four speakers. I want it to be portable and I also want to be able to plug in a USB stick as well as it being able to store music. This device will be extremely similar to an ipod except chunkier and with built in loudspeakers which will be able to be heard across the room. And a USB input...
