Hi. I'd like to build an alpha wave generator (a circuit that generates alpha and theta waves) and don't know how to begin. I would appreciate if anyone could help me in this matter.

Alpha waves?

Assuming we are on the same wavelength ( )
Are you proposing a flashing light that runs at human brain alpha frequencies?
If memory serves me this is around 10Hz and can induce fits in sensitive people as the brain 'synchronises up' to this near-natural frequency.

A simple 555 timer flashing some LEDs should suffice - vary the frequency slightly to find the most annoying flash rate and enjoy the discomfort and stress
