I've been discussing with experienced member LJCox on the "General Electronics Chat" forum the circuits as shown on my NTL Homepage here:

I need to know if ferrite could be used instead of the fixed Neo magnet in the inductors core to achieve a strong variable pulsed magnetic field at the inductors surface and at variable frequencies.
