ADG1438 multiplexor with single 5V supply?

Can we use ADG1438 with vdd=5v, gnd = gnd (0V) and Vss = gnd (0V)

it's one of those things that will have to be tried rather than estimated. I doubt it will work, otherwise the vendor would make a big deal that it works over an extended voltage range. Also, if that part works for you, it doesn't mean the next part in a different (or same) production lot will work, even with the exact same part number, because the datasheet does not specify that is should work at that limited voltage.

if you do try it, keep your signal voltage at least 0.5v inside the power rails used as shown in datasheet.
