Circuit 0808 3_0003.jpg

For the homework attached, the ADC0808 needed to be used to convert from analog to digital. 5Vcc must be used for the circuit. And since I can't found 5V, I used voltage divider to get 5V from 9V.

Is this the circuit drawn is correct? Especially for the analog input and the clock signal.

Thanks in advance.

get a 9V battery and connect it to a 7805 linear regulator. This will convert the 9V to 5V. Connect your potentiometer with one end of the track at 5V, the other end at 0V and connect the wiper to the input of the ADC. That should get you going

A 555 set up as an Astable.
