To me, it looks like a Vellman style meter that typically have trouble with three digits of accuracy because they do not use zero temp coefficient burden resistors or compensate for temp in any way.

It is not an advertisement of a product, because I did not mention the name of a specific company, it is only a suggestion and confirmation of a product, which is considered an important tool for accurate work.
Now the question is, can the amperage be increased to 10 amps? how is it possible?

Do the traces on the circuitboard inside the unit look like they can handle 10A? If not, the answer is no.

You would have to modify the shunt, and rewrite the code for the
G factor of the shunt to get correct display. Or if not a processor
look at datasheet for measurement IC to see how range is handled.

And just how accurate is it?

What is the products accuracy specification? What does it use as it's internal reference? How stable is that reference's initial accuracy vs. it's drift over time and temperature?

Please be aware that having many digits of display may give you fine resolution, but not necessarily fine accuracy.
