Isn't the usual MRI field 1.5T or 3T?

I recently was going to MRI, and I think they said even 3T is rare, usually is 1.5T

NMR machines are usually bigger than MRI, they use them in Chemistry Departments at Universities - they have warning signs in the corridors as you get anywhere near them, mostly warnings about watches.

The 7T was the highest MRI at the time and that was 25 y ago. I don't know its history since then. But 7T is the latest std now. (Sunnybrook Toronto is getting one )
With Imris software the results are stunning.
