I'm making a temperature controller, and I've got this far (see attachment), but I need to also have a digital readout showing the set-point set by the variable resistor (in degrees C). I thought about using a bunch of comparators, but I'd need 15 of those to give steps of 1 degree. Is there an easier way to convert from analogue voltage to some sort of signal I could make use of?

Thanks

Hi Roboticmisinfo,

Normally I would go for an UAA170 or even an IR2433 but both chips
are obsolete and there aren't any replacements for those which means
that you're stuck with a couple of cascaded LM3914's. :(
