A Basic question : Measuring current in a resistor in series

Hi guys, this is my first post on the website, so thank you in advance for your help ^.^ ....

The question is about ohms law and calculating current for a resistor, I'll just copypaste in right in here:

Suppose a 6-V battery is connected across a series combination of resistors. The resistance
values are 1.0 Ω, 2.0 Ω, and 3.0 Ω. What is the current through the 2.0-Ω resistor?
(a) 1.0 A
(b) 3.0 A
(c) 12 A
(d) 24 A
(e) 72 A

I know ohms law but how do you get the current for the 2 ohms instead of the total 6 ohms ?
 
The current is the same anywhere in a closed circuit, whats the current across ALL three resistors? surely you can work this out
