Does anyone know if there are any PTCs or "self-resettable fuse"-like devices? THis is for an RC helicopter to protect the motor driver/speed controller in case something goes terribly wrong to protect the speed controller but still let it recover if the fault goes away (for some reason) so the thing doesn't drop it out of the sky if it doesn't have to.

Because if a momentary event destroys the ESC, it falls out of the sky, but if it's a fuse and the momentary event blows the fuse then the ESC is protected but the chopper still falls out of the sky.

Well the main thing was I didn't want something like the batteries exploding mid-air if some kind of short does occur. BUt I am using A123s rather than Lipos so maybe it is not such a concern. And perhaps this is impractical and there are too much losses among other issues and I should just not fuse it.
