555 timer tool prolem?

The 555 timer tool does not give correct results for the "standard" astable circuit. Give it equal resistor values, and it tells you it will yield a 50% duty cycle. As most of us know, the "standard" astable circuit cannot produce a 50% duty cycle.
In any case, there are enough variations of the astable circuit to make it necessary, IMHO, to show the schematic being used.

EDIT: My "prolem" is, I can't type.:D

Yes, it is totally out to lunch. A schematic is a must.
