This IC produces the waves from a RC circuit outside of the IC. Then a opamps inside makes the square wave.
The amplitude of the wave is the same of the power supply. To adjust the amplitude of the wave, adjust the power supply, and to adjust the frequency, adjust the resistor R in the RC circuit.
