4078 IC and LM380 IC?!?

Hi All

I have a 4078 IC and a LM380 IC.

Anyone know what they do, or where i can get pinouts diagrams or data sheets?

4078 is a CMOS NOR-gate with 8 inputs, datasheet on:

(motorola puts a 1 in front of the CMOS series so in the datasheet search for 14078)

The LM380 is a 2.5W audio amplifier

P.S. if a circuit diagram tells me to conect a particular leg or track to ground, this basicaly means (in DC) conect it to 0v, right?

Yes, GND = 0V
