3x3x3 led pic16f627 code

First off let me say that i am a newbie at assembler code

I have built the hardware for a 3x3x3 led cube using be80be's circuit diagram(awsome diagram thanks man)

I would like each effect to be cycled though using a tactile switch, but im not sure how to code this and where to connect the switch. Im using a pic16f627.
