I know a MOSFET used little to no base current but needs more base voltage. I'm not sure if this circuit has enough output base voltage to interface with a MOSFET.
I found a couple on mouser. There's the NTD4963N min. Threshold voltage of 1.45 maximum 2.5, NTMD5838 min. 1.0 maximum 3.0, and NTD6416AN min. 2.0 maximum 4.0. Which do you think would work the best?As long as you select an NFET with a Vt (threshold voltage) of less than 2V, the 3V decoder chip should drive it just fine. Digikey or Mouser sell lots of suitable devices.
