12V Step up Converter

Hello.


I was planning on making an amplifier for my car, so i was looking for a good power supply. I would like a decent voltage, and some current as well. Preferably it should be able to deliver around 60 watts into a 4 ohm speaker.
Anyone out there with a good circuit?

Just buy an in-car amplifier, bearing in mind you may need one much larger than 60W to actually get 60W - their specs are usually highly imaginary.

Building your own would cost you a LOT more than you can buy them for.
