I disagree with UVRob, AC relays are made so that the relay when energized "pulls" the contacts (in a normally open contact), and they stay pulled as long as the coil is energized....
A normal AC relay is rated to 10,000,000 operations more or less. if what UVRob says was true a Relay would only last less that 2 days :shock:
:arrow: Now, if you put a DC relay instead of an AC (given the DC relay tolerates the AC voltage) the contacts will open and close rapidly. That is why I asked if the relay coil was AC for sure.
