1-4-2-5-3-6 counter with flip flops gates help!

hi guys,

i need a counter circuit (with 7476 flip flop) output will be 7 segment pls help me , we will see in 7 segment 1-4-2-5-3-6-1-4......

Why the odd count pattern? It almost reminds me of a 6 cylinder engine firing order.

i need a synchronous counter, it's my logic circuit desing project , and this counter is designed with flip flops and AND/OR.. gates.

Maybe you could build a four bit counter and then decode with gates the wanted count position. Or if it is a 7-segment use the BCD to 7-segment decoder.
