Most of what you want to do is well documented, have a look at this site for examples of all the areas you mention.

Never used LoRa so not sure how effective it can be at those ranges or what extra hardware, eg larger...
A great chip for hifi quality is the LM3886, its datasheet shows how compact and simple its layout can be.
Our Arcam system uses them 50 + 50 W
For pre amp and other audio circuits you can find lots of proven designs here -

An alternative to the typical tft screens are the serial Nextion range which are programmable so saving valuable resources like memory and i/o of your micro, if that is a concern ?
They can give very clear and detailed displays, the trade off is price and learning another programming system...
Just go to the Arduino site where there is so much information, help and examples of so many such projects and code tutorials
You do not mention which family of tft screen you are looking at or what micros you are using, but many of both are covered by Arduino.
We find the SPI TFT / Touch...
At that price its dearer than the rest of our micro project put together ! :)
Will settle for a standard coin cell one from one of our usual suppliers, bigger but it works.
Used these little Modules in a couple of projects which initially work ok, but when run for more than a year find that they do not hold their backup charge/time when the mains drops.
Have others found the same to be true or if there is something that needs to be done with these modules ?
They...
Might be worth testing out your actual display with some simple test code first.
This example details the code changes needed to run that screen using the adafruit ili9341 library.

Ah, suckered again !
Using Firefox with uBlock Origin and once that was taken out ET loads instantly. :)
Interestingly basic Edge with no extensions also worked ok, but it gave this opening screen which have never seen before, though no problem.
Thanks
Hi,
For some time now been noticing when we first open the site it takes about 15 seconds * before the ET home screen appears, it just shows its reading from CloudFlare ?
Also noticed that it shows CloudFlare down at the bottom of the screen whenever we go to a new page.
Is this part of ETs...
No idea what your project consists of or what your Bugs are, but ever thought about moving your project to a different system like C++ Arduino ?
Might sound like a lot of work, but would a rewrite actually be a good thing and help sort out existing problems properly ?
Arduinos were simple...
There are lots of Arduino to Stepper motor tutorials out there, the one below using a common driver module which will be similar / compatible to ones you probably have.
If you build up a single driver as shown in the tutorial then think you will soon work out that you can program up the code to...
We use Arduino and ESP 32 these days so thought it best to stick with C++ as no other real need to learn/use micropython and web opinion seems very divided between the two languages.
Know theres lots of info out there starting with the RP forums 168 pages just on the Pico, but was looking...
Hi,
We got our first look at the new £5 Pico2 board and its so far worked ok with some simple sketches in C++ under the Arduino IDE, though clearly a lot more testing to do to see if it can run our completed projects.
Looking around ETs forums surprised to see little about this board and its...
No, we initially thought we could readily modify the program code, but after taking onboard the above good advice and what little we could actually achieve if we did, it does not seem worthwhile.
Thanks Ian, but following on from the above comments now wondering if its worth all the trouble for the few mods we want or can make to this little project.
Perhaps better to follow the old saying, " if it aint broke..... "
