Two bad displays. :( Just installed a third and it works perfectly.

I have two displays doing the same thing. I it appears to be a contrast issue. Below is the best I can get the contrast adjusted. Notice how part of the P and part of the M appear to be washed out and there are artifacts all over the screen.

Morningstar makes a great product. I used one of their charge controllers in my project years ago and it is still going strong. I don't remember your model as being an option back then I could have saved myself a lot of hassle.
Likely a Chinese typo. That should be over charging. It could be the charger will prevent the battery from powering the panel ( a diode between panel and battery usually does this) but doubtful the controller will prevent the battery from being discharged. As mentioned the controller...
So how do you know if it is really copper and not CCA when the connectors are on it?
I am looking at an Ethernet cable / connector now. The wires are multiple strands and the ends of the wires seem to be copper. Would that mean it is not CCA?
