Hi, this is probably the sillyest question ever asked on this forum.. but ive never been able to come across a proper wiring diagram or instructions for a potentiometer. are different models different? where can i get this info?
Thanks.
Sam
Hi, the on resistance of the switch seems to be a huge problem. the circuit i am looking at making is for a voltage controlled oscillator, where a capacitor is connected to ground once the switch is closed and discharges. with a 100ohm resistance, the capacitor doesn't discharge.
any other...
Hi,
Im wondering if anybody knows of a simple digital switch that will connect 2 pins on a low input and put a huge resistance between the two on a high input (just a normal digital switch).
or is there a circuit that can do the same thing?
Its for an oscillator circuit operating at up...
Hi,
Im wondering if there is anyway to set up a sound card so that it will act as a signal generator/power supply (DC).
what is the usual (p-p)V output of a soundcard when playing audio?
Is there any software floating around that can do this, or is it possible to re-program a sound...
sorry, take no note of the transformer comment. its DC, and Im having sever troubles trying to figure out how to give my opamp 15V off an 8V DC supply.
Any ideas?
Hmm, have you got any other solutions? I couldn't seem to get that one working in pspice. I need the 15V supply to power an opamp which is part of a circuit that must be very stable. so I need to get a constant and stable 15V out of an 8V supply.
Thanks.
Sam
hmmm
Um, yep, good point. Im using the current to charge a capacitor who's voltage is read off by a schmitt trigger. I have to get the capacitor to somehow charge to 7V, then the schmitt trigger is arranged so it will short the cap through a digital switch and discharge it creating a sawtooth...
Hi, Im having trouble with a voltage controlled oscillator circuit that im trying to get going. basically the only thing that is holding me back, is I need to somehow convert an input of .25V to a minumum of 70mA to charge a capacitor.
the V/I converter must be linear, so the current has to...
