instead of buying an expensive oscilloscope, i was wondering whether it is possible to uilding an oscilloscope using a high speed ADC, and a computer.
i want to know if anyone out there has done anything like this, or has some articles on the design of this type of oscilloscope.
i think what you are talking about is clustering. it is possible with linux, search for Beowulf on google, and you should get some information on clustering linux pcs.

I know that to interfere with a phone signal you would have to transmit your own signal at the frequency a mobile phone operates on. I was wondering how you would produce noise in a circuit, and upconvert it to the frequency the phone works on.
