    What is a uP1509P

Not necessarily. for eg., uPC1155 is a bridge output audio amp.

Thank you. Changed the language as suggested and the problem is gone! :)

    Misbehaving key!

Hello, I have been facing this problem recently on my HP laptop running Windows 10. The key 'and " (and only ' and " ) will not input anything until another key is pressed. It can be the same key or any other including space bar. That is, the above 2 inputs will show on screen only when...

Does highly sensitive radio receivers encounters less fading

Highly sensitive receivers can receive signals that are much lower in magnitude, so they can handle a wider range of signal fade.

Why my transistor is heating up to failure

With all its limitations, the 741 can be used with a Single supply ( min 12 Volts). Just have to keep in mind that the output voltages cannot reach the Bus voltages - 0 or Vcc.

PSU "Schematic" help me understand AC/DC Bridge Rectifiers, Proper Grounding, and Series AC Connections

From your schematic, it is not clear whether your toroidal transformer has 2 electrically separated 24 volt windings. If it it is a NO, then this setup will blow up the bridge rectifiers / transformer or both. If it is a 24-0-24 volt winding, then a single bridge will give both +ve and -ve...

    Strange 555 failure

Put it in the circuit and if it does not function, then suspect it. IC's cannot be tested by measuring resistances between its pins.

Why my transistor is heating up to failure

That 741 is to be configured as a Comparator and NOT as a Linear amplifier. Obviously, the transistor is operating in a Linear mode and not as a Switch. It will heat up and fail.

(Another) analogue voltmeter does not go back to zero

Normally, about 50 - 100 uA is what is needed for full scale deflection, if it is a DC meter. Maybe there is another resistor in series with the coil which may have to be removed. Zero setting is normally Mechanical. Is there some mechanical damage? Bent Needle or dislocated Coil?

Home transfer switch from ups to grid, what about fase?

This is similar to connecting 2 AC power sources in Parallel without Synchronizing. Yes, there will be smoke and fire.

A small problem question about opamps

    The gain at the Non Inverting input is (1 + Gain at the Inverting input). Gain is (R13/R14) = 0.5 Vo = [ -(R13/R14) * Vx + (1+R13/R14) * Vy *R16/(R15 + R16)] = -.5 * (-8.0) + 1.5 * 6 * 0.5 = 4 + 4.5 = 8.5

Is this sample question a zener diode - wave shaper question?

On the Positive cycle, the output voltage follows the input voltage and clamps it at 10 volts. It no longer follows the input beyond that.. On the Negative cycle, the same happens except that the clamping is at -0.7 volts. I presume that Vload >> Rshunt
