    If_Then_Else_Endif

It would help if we knew which processor it was for. I'm guessing an 8085 variant. Mike. Edit, just opened the attachment and see it's for an 18 series pic chip. You don't write to Triss anywhere or is this a "hidden" feature?

    Pic 18 f

The 27Q10 is very impressive with 64K (words) of program memory and numerous peripherals and 28 pins. Mike.

How does the parametric search work on the Microchip website?

I'm looking for a Pic chip with 8 to 20 legs and at least 1 UART. I go to the parametric search page on MicroChip and type in pic16F and set the number of legs (6 to 20 -can't be bothered changing 6 to 8) and get a number of selections. I.E. I then scroll accross to set the number of UARTs to 1...

Programmatically pressing buttons with 4n25/MAX395, multiplex or suggested setup

You'll probably find it's already multiplexed. Is it a fairly newish car? Do you know if it has a can bus? Mike.

RTC slows down after a few minutes and doesn't keep the correct time pace

I used a Wemos and run the RTC in software with battery backed 1307 as main time keeper with it using my wifi to fetch the time (from time server) every 15 mins. Lots of examples on the internet. Mike.

RTC slows down after a few minutes and doesn't keep the correct time pace

I don't see any power connections! Are you assuming they'll be made automatically? Mike

RTC slows down after a few minutes and doesn't keep the correct time pace

The DS3231 is an RTC. I'm assuming it's a module so it doesn't show the crystal etc. BTW, The OP did mention module but it wasn't very clear. Mike.

Anyone know where "System Module" is?

I'm trying to use the "New" system (code) configuration (MCC) stuff in MPLAB X and I receive a hint saying (red oval if it's not obvious), However, I can't find the System Module, anyone know where it hides? If anymore info required then ask away. Thanks, Mike. Edit, seems I need to set this...

using a RTC in SF basic

I tried this 10 (or more) years (I wrongly typed tears, which may be more pertinent) ago and have since given up completely. You have the patience of a saint. Good luck. Mike.

I see the spammer is back. I deal with it by clicking on the spammers name, click ignore and then refresh the page. Looks like the mods get onto it quickly - well done. Mike.

What's the difference between radio and magnetic waves?

I love the fact that Maxwell described the propogation of electromagnetic waves as having a constant speed (c) even though, at the time, no one understood how this was possible. Mike.
