I want to power a small lcd (from a keyring photo displayer) with regular batteries. The small nicad recharge batt that came with the unit is 3.7v - 140ma. I tried using a voltage divider on a 9v batt (w/ 2 15 & 20 ohm 1/4w resistors) and was able to bring the voltage down to 3.8v. The display...
