Hello members
i want to design a circuit to supply the firing pulse of the thyristors
i want also its theory of operation.
any help will be appreciated:)
thank you
Ahmed
Currently i am doing my bachelor project.
the idea of the project is to control several devices and systems using PC, i will connect the PC to PIC using USB interface
i already found the circuit and connected it and also the pc (windows xp sp2) identified my circuit as Human Interface...
i connected the Vcc and gnd to pin # 4,3 in ps/2 connector
but again the power didn't reach the device
i thought the device will start regardless of data and clock pins values
should i connect the clock and data before it can start ?
Thanks guys for the useful information
finally , i decided to connect to the micro using ps/2
the ps/2 connector has 1 pin for data(no Tx or Rx)
any idea how can i connect the reader to the pic?
actually i am connecting the barcode scanner to the PC using an rs232 to ps/2 converter that comes with the device so the barcode reader is connected to the pc through the keyboard port.
but when i connect the barcode reader to my circuit i connect it through rs232 and remove the converter...
i configured the barcode reader to the RS232 configuration and default settings(no handshaking).
but still didn't power up from the 5v supply
and i want to know what's the rs232 breakout box?
i think not because when i connected it to the pc it turned on immediatly
the datasheet is available in Lefty post in the link.
it a datasheet for all opticon barcode scanners
