Need help understanding how to make the best antenna choice.

You could just get a RP-SMA to SMA adapter. https://www.adafruit.com/product/920?gclid=Cj0KCQiAvrfSBRC2ARIsAFumcm_AtF6qnt6P10LTzZoh7KMHta5Qi3ThiMMp0OTafsUwThVei_ZAzjgaAkj5EALw_wcB

    Altium Pin Name Placement

I have a question concerning Altium. While creating a component, I find that I would like to move the Pin Name (see example image). In this case, pin name is H- and I would like to place the name above the pin. Is that possible? I do see that I can move name position left/right, but I do not see...

    Antennas: 434MHz versus 868MHz

Fortunately, with new technologies such as spread spectrum (CDMA), they have an inherent resistance to jamming, or operation in a noisy spectrum. But yeah, spewing across the EM band is still bothersome.

Sharing data between a 5V device and a 3.3V device

3.3V logic can drive 5V logic, check 5V part VIL and VIH. Some 3.3V parts can tolerate 5V inputs, check your radio module data sheet. The data sheet should list maximum input. In many cases no level translation is needed.

    Step command for two components

I got a question. Can you use the step command to alter two component values in LTspice? For 1 component, you put {X} for the component value. So if you wanted to step two part values how would the simulator know which part was what if two parts had {X} value and the spice directive is .step...

    LabView Training

One other point I would like to make. If your interest is in test engineering, then I would suggest that you learn LabView. It is the spoken language in the test engineering circles. Do not be put off by LabView, it is simply another programming language, and quite frankly, a much easier one to...

    LabView Training

First, I would like to say, I get no compensation for my endorsement here. LabView is an industry standard software for control of test equipment used in the industry. To become a Certified LabView developer is a good way to bolster your resume, of course understanding test engineering helps...

    Eagle PCB Joints

Keep in mind, as you make a branch such as shown, you also make a discontinuity. Depending on the transition speed of signal on the trace, you may find excess ringing due to impedance mismatch. The added triangle however will add capacitance may work to your advantage as it will slow some of the...
