    Tesla coils...

shape the field... I dont have pictures or plans, but this is a one you can do easy, just be carefull... it is not a tesla, but is similar, get a flyback, feed it with fast dc pulses, 20 khz or up, yes dc, not ac,properlly drive it,better use a 12volts dc battery to drive the flyback and...

Dog stopping: Finding a Piezo buzzer/transducer?

Cheap response to the post they are cheap, I wanted to show him what I was talking about, I know, you guys know everything...but you never help posting what you know...and you have all the time to find the buts , without solving the but.... https://www.usspeaker.com/cts%20index-1.htm digitan...

Dog stopping: Finding a Piezo buzzer/transducer?

transducer **broken link removed** the right name is piezo tweeter , this ones respond 30 khz and 200 to 400 watts, and note, this are cheap ones, long time ago i got ones that went up to 45 khz... but 30 khz will do some damage anyway at 200 watts, try to do a variable freq oscillator, so...

    Tesla coils...

That is a nice model, any idea what voltage are you getting in the out? and freq you tuned it? it is very high diameter for the secondary..like 6 or 8 inches righ? any way , 22 to 28 inches is very good...also very noisy...try blowing some argon gas over the toroid..jejejeje A great One!

    L293D mis-behaving

high z Great, yes, high impedance give you that kind of problem, as I said before, a secure level, 0 or 1 , but secure...not high Z...

    L293D mis-behaving

the input... what about the input from the pic? are you sure it is 200 hz pulses , did you see it whit oscilloscope or scope meter? or measure it with meter?

    L293D mis-behaving

may be... may be is fryed, but you can figure it out testing it , now, max. input voltage is 7 volts, I guess you did not over pass that? now, what did you connect to the output? you have 600 mili amps... and the enable is high right? I mean a secure high level not disconnected, you can connect...

    DC Power Supply PCB

zener diode Wow, zener diodes are for reference , not to be use in the output, more than decades dedicated power supply have ref. voltage from zener diodes...

    DC Power Supply PCB

oh my god Did you realise that are milivolts? any way, again, i am giving a "get out of the problem" solution , I am not posting to try to help somebody that dont know much, of course is not the high tech solution..i suject the 2n3054 with a zener, but this guy burned a zener before, so bad...

    DC Power Supply PCB

now semi conductors are resistors I will have to go back to university, I did not know new semiconductor are resistors now...I know a pic can do thing that at my times I did with a 8031 an adc converter, a fifo and uart in one chip, but did not know about new diodes... sorry for my poor...
