Maybe you should build this circuit up and check it out for yourself.
But as I Said, My "Home Made Coil" puts out a Lower Voltage with a Higher Current
If you have a Considerably Constant On Time Duty Cycle, Than a Car Coil Can be dangerous.
Also is the shock actually passing through you Heart or Brain.
Also Depends somewhat on you Heart Health.
My Home Made Coil Put out a Lower Voltage, But Considerably More Current.
PLAY SAFE!
When Connecting an Amp to headphones, You should Always Include a Current Limiting Series Resistor.
The Value of this Resistors will be Determined by the Impedance of the Headphones.+
With Older 8 Ohm Headphones, a 100 Ohm resistor is Suitable.
With Higher Impedance ones, Possibly use 1k Ohm or...
I just get the Hydrochloric Acid (Muriatic Acid) from any LOCAL Hardware Store and the Hydrogen Peroxide from the $ Store.
Works out to About $5.00 or $6.00 Canadian for a Imperial Gallon of Etchant. (Bigger than the US Gallon.)
No Fuss, No Staining and Quite Sure it is Cheaper than Ferric Chloride.
I Doubt anyone Sell an etching Kit.
It is Dangerous Chemicals and not likely legal to mail out.
What is the PCB you want to Etch?
If you have a Picture of it, Possibly I could etch one for you.
I find it better to use a Warm solution, 1 Part of Hydrochloric Acid and 2 Parts 3% Hydrogen Peroxide.
Doesn't Stain anything.
But Corrosive, So Wear Rubber Gloves.
No, The LM350 is an Adjustable Regulator and can be used as a Constant Current Source.
It is Similar to the LM317, But with Higher Current Rating. (3 Amps)
And it will need a Heat Sink on it.
