Yamaha Electone EL500 service manual

Hi there,

The audio of my Yamaha Electone EL500 has gone dead ! No audio is heard from either the speaker or the headphone. The panel lights are all ok and there is audioi output from the aux out jacks.

Anyone got experience with this problem ? Has anyone got a service manual for this instrument to share ?

Looks like your power amplifier chip/circuit inside the Yamaha Electone EL500 is dead.

I suspect so. The power amp chip is STK4192 II. can I replace it with a STK4191 II ?
