Ah yeah, I remember our music tech teacher mentioning it a few times whilst we were studying the Blade Runner soundtrack (its pretty much made on one of them ). I remember him mentioning the weight too

Certainly looks very complicated, really clever design though, no small task designing something like that.

If you search around on Youtube you can find Vangelis playing it...each key has aftertouch, so if you wiggle your fingers while holding the keys it'll adjust the envelope...
