We consider to use sub-20 http://www.xdimax.com/sub20/sub20.html as i2c master. Especially for it's functionality as i2c multi master and additional 4 i2c master channels. Sub-20 is going to be used in production testing device. The dut (device under test) has a number of i2c slave channels. At some moment channels can be connected to each other via i2c switch device.
The question is if such configuration is correct. Has someone used more then one sub-20 i2c channel and connected them to each other?

There should be no problem. It does not matter there the masters come from. If all of them respect multi master arbitration they should work together.
