Square wave to sine wave converter

It is backwards to try to convert a powerful square-wave into a sine-wave. The filter inductors and capacitors will be huge, expensive and will waste a lot of power.

Modern sine-wave inverters use Pulse-Width-Modulation with a very high switching frequency to produce a chopped sine-wave then the high frequency pulses are smoothed together with a small filter to produce a smooth powerful sine-wave.

Thread born to survive not matter what no matter who

Why is everyone answering a two and a half year old dead thread?, don't you look at the dates?.

Look WHEN he said so...

This is a fated thread; it will survive anything: hijacking, derailing, nonsense.

Even one poster, made his first post here. Nice.

We meet in two years here...:D
