scratched tesla coil

i got a small nick in the side of my tesla coil. just wondering if there is anything i can do other that putting many coats of clear enamel on it, which i have already done. TY

Hey lokey. As long as the wire itself isn't damaged (broken), it shouldn't matter much. Enamel is pretty much all you can do with it. IMO you won't notice a difference in the output.

Provided that you dont have a short circuit between adjacent turns, there should be no problem.
