POV with PIC16F628A MPLAB

Hi guys I m creating spoke pov. But not rotating on the wheels. I m using a motor.
I m using PIC16F628A and 74hc595 shift register. I have mplab IDE and hi-tech compiler. I need source code to display some text preferably a custom image or text. I want the code in c program. Please help me. Or suggest some websites. I HAVE ALREADY GOOGLED SO MUCH. I don't want to change the parts.
Pls help. Thnks in advance.

There are many, many arduino examples for POV displays... If you can use C then you can port the code..

You're rather missing the point - it's YOUR project, you need to do it yourself.

If you can't do it, then you're not competent to pass the course - cheating won't help.

On the link they have used the libraries and the functions of Arduino. In PIC controller we don't have these libraries.

Its a mini projects. Just they want us to program I/O ports. Like push button and relay interfacing.
But we want to go beyond that. As we had so much of practice on simple programs. And teachers expect little more from me being good in C programming. But POV is different you know.

There is a member here with a great user name... Keep It Simple Stupid.... I'm not calling you stupid, I'm just pointing out that people go too far when designing their projects... If you keep it simple then you can succeed with a lesser project than fail with a larger one...
