Polaroid 6500 series Sonar sensors

hi all,

anyone have worked with a Polaroid 6500 ultrasonic sensor (ranging system) before ????

can u give me some advices:

1. what kind of microprocessor (microcontroller) would be suitable with it ??

2. what did you use to generate the INIT (trigger signal) that triggers the transmission of the ultrasonic wave ???
