No Output out of my E class SSTC

I left it like a normal antenna just a 20cm wire coming from the driver. I guess the entire tuning issue was odly just too many primary turns

I suppose it's possible, though most SSTCs are designed to self-tune (that's what the antenna is for). It is possible that with more inductance it caused more feedback to the antenna that caused it to fire at the wrong times. That's all I can think of at this point. Unless, of course, it was creating too much impedance and you were not getting the full energy transfer.
