Does anyone know of any "keyswitches" (i.e. **broken link removed**) manufacturers besides **broken link removed**? At a buck-a-piece @Digikey, this makes for an expensive 20 keys keypad...

I am not looking for a complete keypad, just the spring-action switches that will provide some "tactile feedback" like your computer keyboard, for a custom keyboard based on this that I'm looking to design.

Thanks for the very good suggestions. I was about to give some APEM switches a try when I got the surprise of the UPS guy dropping a box from Cherry at my place containing... 20 samples of their expensive "key switches". Problem solved! 8) Unless I end up mass producing the thing, in which case, even bulk prices on those are pretty steep... But that's not in the plans right now ;)

Thanks again for your input.

Hi Joel,

what is application? i'm getting too lazy with my projects (actually never have enough time)
so i simply use membrane keypads...
