Hello.

How can I design a keypad matrix 4x4 for Arduino with the capability to custom the color and icon/letters keys and braille texture?

Example:

At the moment, I only have the idea to buy a keyboard with standard buttons and in the other hand buy the buttons with different colors and a plastic protector for each key. After it, print a sticker for the keys and in the plastic protector put the texture of the letters in braille.

Thanks!

Have a look at C&K MDP series buttons and caps. They are 1/2" or 12.7mm square and the caps are available in multiple colours.

They fit nicely on normal 0.1" grid stripboard.

You can then add standard braille overlays to those, eg.

Have you thought about getting a cheap Pc number keypad & modding it.
