ir sensor circuit

hello
m making a micromouse
nd m encountering a problem regarding ir sensors
i want to use 5 ir sensors to sense the obstacle
three sensors for straight,right and left nd rest two, i will place them diagonally for the proper allignment

can nybdy please help me with some circuit for the ir sensor
i have tried some circuits but nothing is working
plzzzzzz help me

What type of IR sensors do you have? Am I correct assuming we are talking about homebuilt one made of a photo-sensing cell and a IR source?
