Is there a way to set the pulse interval of the 555 timer output into 1 minute?
If there is, what amount of Resistors and Capacitors is needed?

The bipolar version of the 555 will tolerate timing resistors of up to 10megΩ, more for the CMOS version. If you can find a low-leakage timing capacitors, you can generate delays of up to several hours.

Right from the TI 555 data sheet:

How accurate does your 1min need to be? 10sec, 1 sec, 1microsec......?
