There are special ways of counting different things in japanese. The safest option is to stick to the most common first translation, used when counting time and quantities and measurements, with added qualifiers such as minutes (pun/fun) or yen (en). The second translations are sometimes used for counting objects, as in biiru futatsu, onegai shimasu (two beers please). Above ten, there is only one set of numbers. For four, seven and nine there are alternatives to the first translation used in some circumstances.

Zero zero
One ichi hitotsu
Two ni futatsu
Three san mittsu
Four yon/shi yottsu
Five go itsutsu
Six roku muttsu
Seven shichi/nana nanatsu
Eight hachi yattsu
Nine ku/kyu kokonotsu
Ten ju to
Eleven ju-ichi
Twelve ju-ni
Twenty ni-ju
Twenty-one ni-ju-ichi
Thirty san-ju
One hundred hyaku
Two hundred ni-hyaku
Thousand sen
Ten Thousand ichi-man
One hundred thousand ju-man
One million hyaku-man
One hundred million ichi-oku

(Aeroflot is doing London to Tokyo for under £500 this august)

Watashi mo gaijin desu, demo Nihon ni hataraite dakara nihongo ga shukoshi wakarimasu.

Well I think you understood that

your post was very basic think which is thought in japanese its helpful for the tourists here but believe me if you want to work in Japan or do any buisness better start learning it at professional level :)

Understood one word in three
and it loses something in the translation

This is going to be fleeting glimpse of what Japan has to offer,
employment is a tempting idea, but it would have to be a very special position..Plus I have to give six months (minimum) notice of leaving to my present employer

well this is the knid of language which we use here in daily life
Translator normally have polite forms of words only (like -masu form verbs)
The main problem coming to japan is that every thing here is written in Japanese. Anybody may be able to speak japanese using the english characters (writing japanese using english) but reading japanese is much more tougher because there are around 2000 different characters and in most of the cases one character has more than one meaning and pronouncation. :)
