What kind of fabric did the individual use to make Jabba the Hutt?
I am making my very own Jabba and I have everything I need to complete it
    except the type of fabric.

    Regards,

Probably foam rubber with latex like they use for masks over it.

Here it is, from the wikipedia article on jabba the hut
"John Coppinger sculpted its latex, clay, and foam pieces. "
