hi all

excuse me if this has been covered already

I have created board from schematic, and ran cam job

for gerber extended,...one prob tho...

using Viewplot,...i've noticed that the

part names are not showing on comp side (*.plc)

which I guess is the silkscreen top layer

what,..if anything do I need to do to make

sure that part names will show up on finished PCB?

Solution

first you add....

ok,...after having flipped this prob in my head

I found it....for those who may have similar at some point,

I provide the following:

turn off all layers except the tNames

group all of that layer, change Layer to tPlace

Taa Daaaaa!

now in your gerb view,..all part names will show on

top silkscreen layer
