Well its pointless here to have 100+ on the speedo as they have just increased the speeding fine to £2500 ouch!!!!

Not really. the speed limit through the zone by the local school is 5 MPH yet making the vehicle have such a speedometer range to match it would be dumb.

What I am referring to is simply having a speedometer that has a close range approximation to what the vehicle can do would more fitting. Like a 85 MPH unit in a car the barely has the power to top 80 on a good day and a 120 MPH on in a vehicle that can come close to that.

We have a pair of old Ford grain trucks that have 100MPH speedometers yet between the engine power and gearing for the work they were built to do they can't hit 60 with a good tail wind. Totally pointless to have 100 MPH speedometer on a truck that was built to never go half that fast on purpose.

Visual performance? = bigger $ ideology

For the speedometer.

All tho in thought that visual perk would all ready be known to cost more in general practice proven explicitly since the muscle car era really got that ball rolling, even if the vehicle is not performance.

.....

As for the cost for speeding here in this small minded town is "If you can catch them" territory the price varies on the type and general cost of the vehicle.

And as for road signs, any department cost soon to realize that the all ready complicated to most signs are needing to be made more complicated to only exaggerate the need for as to sustain the money roll.

Just thoughts on the sign departments that plan and study the methods currently in traffic use and that seem to work often to only go and place a hey I did that, look at me! sign that meddles in that well sounding orchestra that showed some promise.
...ever notice the signs in the large progress (shopping squares) areas do rarely change those signs?
