Project: How To Make A Fake Car Alarm Out Of An Old Nokia 3210 Phone Battery

Dead cell phone batteries sometimes can be handy for other things as well...

What we need is the portion the red line shows..(only the plastic not the battery cell inside).

A simple led.. or better a led-flasher!

A 2-3 feet cable with small diameter so it can fit inside the plastic battery case...

A 2xAA battery holder or a car lighter adaptor (batteries can last really long! Maybe it can keep flashing for over a month or two, in case of using the lighter adaptor don't forget the appropriate resistor in series with the led!)

A little bit handcraft....and here's the result! :)

Use a hot glue gun to fill the inside of the plastic battery case so the led and the cable doesn't move, you can use a switch if you like so you can turn it on or off, also you can stick it in your car's front window, ordinary double sided stickers are fine!

* be cautious as the hot glue might melt if the temperature inside the car gets too high, so don't let your car for many hours directly under the sun.

maybe it's not as effective as a real alarm, but i'm sure it can fool some burglars! until you get a real one of course! :)
