From what I gathered they have all at one time or another been members and are under those identities.

I had a quick play at getting into chat without an account and failed. Unless the chat is hosted on a publicly accessibly IRC type host, I don't think it's an easy job to get in.

They are getting in with names not registered with the forum.

maybe they were members and are banned. reason i say that is, banned members dont seem to be on main list
