Hi, I want to make an AC Lamp dimmer using triac and pic16877a, do you have any suggestions? i want to increase and decrease the light of the AC, 220v, 100w, lamp from 0% to 100% every 10 minutes.

You need to use an opto-isolator such as an MC3020 for mains isolation. The IC conatins a low-power triac which can be used to trigger a high-power triac.

2 opto's I suggest, one as just mentioned and the other so give the pic a zero cross signal.
